My name is Tracy Besek. I have always enjoyed photography; mostly landscape photography. Photography started out as a serious hobby.
Over the last three years, my interests have evolved to Children's Photography. My style is relaxed, casual, and candid. I capture real images of you being you; your children being children. Therefore, I have a very relaxed, casual, approach to photography. I spend time talking and playing with your children in order to capture their natural personality and expressions.
I also do traditional portraiture by request...Sometimes you want that classic "family portrait" to hang above the mantle.
I discovered through my own experiences and those of my friends that many families have had not so pleasant experiences of going to a chain studio for their photographs taken - shy, crying, nap times, major melt downs. All in the span of 15-20 minutes... I want the experience to be pleasant for everyone involved. There is no reason you should feel stressed if your little monkey decides bounce off the walls, or have a complete meltdown tantrum in front of the camera.
Our goal is to capture them as they are at this moment in time. Keep inmind that I am a Mom to young children as well. I KNOWhow they can act when placed out of familiar elements.
I don't stress about it so neither should you. I can out-wait anything to capture your child's best personality.
I have now broadened my scope to photographing all aspects of people and pets; not just children. My goal is to provide great portraits, excellent customer service, patience, attention to detail, and unique compositions.
I care about all my clients and their portraits. I review every single photo through my post processing work-flow to provide you with the best collection of proofs to choose from.
I do studio work in my own home, and I have mobile studio equipment that I can take to your home or another suitable location. I love to use the child's natural/comfortable environment. I believe it relaxes the child (or even adults) and together we can make beautiful portraits.
My home studio is located in Dearborn, MI and is convenient to some great locations such as The Historical Henry Ford Estate and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, The newly developed area of W. Michigan Ave in Dearborn, Heritage Park in Taylor, Nankin Mills in Westland, and any of the varous park locations along Hines Drive.
I am a proud member of The National Association of Photosop Professionals and The Professional Photographers of America. I frequently attend professional workshops and seminars as well as informal get-togethers with other professional photographers as a form of continuing education. I believe it's important and necessary to continue to refine skills and technique in any profession.
